Organizational Conflict Causes: An Application Example in Health Sector
Object: The object of this study is to detect possible conflict causes in the healthcare organizations, to determine how the organization employees are affected, and to allow the applicable solutions in these conflicts to be predicted. Material-Method: Study samples were obtained from 150 personnel of Kara Mustafa Paşa Public Hospital in Merzifon, Amasya. Data were collected via "A Scale for Conflict Causes" and analyzed. Findings and Result: According to the study results it was determined that major cause of conflict in the healthcare organization forming our samples was due to uncertainty of authorization and responsibility in the organization, and imbalance between authorization and responsibility.

Keeping in the dark by senior management from their subordinates is referred as “Mushroom Management”. Within the scope of the present study, Mushroom Management application and exposure levels of administers and employers in the health industry were tried to be determined. The theoretical part of the study has been developed based on reviews of literature and in conjunction with conducted researches. Field research has been completed by using interview method, applied to 30 senior level health managers and 30 health workers from Gümüşhane city in Turkey. According to the obtained results, 84% of managers apply mushroom management style, and 87% of employees perceive mushroom management behaviors.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, 2004 ile 2009 yılları arasında; Sağlık Bakanlığı 184 SABİM hattına yapılan hasta şikâyetlerinin karşılaştırmalı analizinin yapılması ve şikâyet nedenlerinin tespit edilmesidir. Araştırmada nitel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda; SABİM hattına yapılan 2004-2009 yılları arasındaki toplam 36640 şikâyet incelenerek sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır.
